Fumiko turns out to be a clone, who offers the heart of her old body to Yoshida, betraying the Aging Devil.
The latest chapter of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga was filled with grotesque surprises. At first, we saw Yoshida put his hand through Denji’s mouth, which came out of Pochita’s mouth. Despite that, he couldn’t do anything to the Aging Devil. Yoru too, tried to shoot him, only for her face to start ageing rapidly. Surprisingly, the person who agreed to help them was Fumiko Mifune.

The chapter starts with a gnarly image of Yoshida pushing his entire arm through Denji’s mouth. Denji and Pochita, who are connected through Pochita's stomach, create a portal between the Aging Devil’s world and the real world. This allows Yoshida’s arm to reach out of Pochita’s mouth. But before he can grab anything and pull himself and the others out, the Aging Devil cuts off his Octopus Devil tentacle. Pochita attacks Aging again, and this time, Yoru pushes her hand through Denji’s mouth to shoot him. But since she can’t see what she’s aiming at, her shot misses.
We then see her push her entire upper body through Denji’s mouth. With a better view of the Aging Devil, she shoots with her hand again. However, Aging easily dodges and shoots a similar attack into her face. Instead of blowing her body into smithereens, his attack disfigures her as she starts to age rapidly. Yoru violently pulls herself back in and asks Denji and Yoshida if she’s beautiful. Both of them say that she is, and we see that her face has returned to normal..
The Aging Devil says that this hostility is adding to the body count, and no matter how many times Denji attacks him, he can regenerate. However, we suddenly see another Fumiko Mifune enter the room, while the first one is still dying on the floor due to organ loss. The healthy, walking Fumiko reminds the dying one that she promised to side with the likely winner in her last moments. The dying Fumiko agrees and offers her heart to Yoshida. He thanks her and we see a massive octopus with a human head breaking out of the house in the real world.

Much like the few previous chapters, the latest CSM issue was also packed with grotesque imagery, it's actually a miracle how Denji's face is still in one piece with how much he's stretched his mouth open to let Yoru through to the real world.
Both Yoru and Yoshida, who has the Octopus devil’s powers, fail to defeat the Aging Devil at first. But thanks to Fumiko’s betrayal, they now have a chance to make it out of Aging’s alternate reality. Fans are also eager to know how Fumiko was able to gain another body after losing several organs to the Aging Devil. It seems that she has a contract with some other devil that allows her to clone her body. The next chapter will likely show us how Yoshida will bring Denji and Yoru out of the Aging Devil’s world and finally kill him.
