Fans are ecstatic that they will have access to many amazing manga available on the platform.
On 4 February 2025, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Kodansha’s official K Manga platform announced that the manga reading service is now available in 8 new countries. Previously, the service was exclusively available to fans in the USA and only started covering Australia and New Zealand last year. But now, 8 countries, including India, the Philippines, and Mexico, will be able to enjoy the wide range of manga titles offered by the service.
As per the post, the countries where fans can now access the K Manga website and app are: the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Mexico, and Brazil. If you’re a fan of any Kodansha-licensed manga and you live in any of these eight countries, you can now read the series on the app and the website. However, you will have to purchase or earn tickets to unlock the new chapters on this service, which can be a little complicated.
Of course, fans are happy to learn that Kodansha has finally launched this service in more countries. Titles such as Blue Lock, Shangri-La Frontier, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, Gachiakuta, Rent-A-Girlfriend, Sweat and Soap, MF Ghost, A Couple of Cuckoos, Yakuza Fiance, and many more are available to read on the site and the mobile app. If your country is still not on the list of regions where the service is available, there’s nothing to worry about as Kodhansha has promised to launch this platform in other countries soon.
