The newly created official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai revealed that the series is getting a TV anime. Unfortunately, the release window or cast of the project is yet to be revealed. A brand new key visual was released on social media. The series is based on Masuo Kinoko’s light novel series.
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai production and staff details
Tatsunoko Production and Synergy SP are producing the upcoming anime. Yoshinori Odala is directing the series with Gigaemon Ichikawa handling the series composition. Mayumi Watanabe is designing the characters. No other details of the anime have been revealed yet, but fans are excited to learn about the cast and release date of the series.
The Marvelous Japan booth at the Anime Japan 2025 will be hosting an event to celebrate the anime. Popular cosplayer Tsukune Tsukimi will appear at the booth and there will be exclusive merchandise available for the fans. The Anime Japan event is taking place at the Tokyo Big Sight on 22 and 23 March, 2025.
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai story and other details
The anime is based on a light novel series of the same name by Masuo Kinoko, which began publishing in the AlphaPolis platform in December 2017. A manga adaptation by Tomozo has also begun. The light novel series won the grand prize and the readers' choice award at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes. Kinoko expressed his gratitude and excitement about the project and urged fans to travel well with the protagonist and his friends. Tomozo also said that he’s incredibly happy about the anime.
The story of A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai revolves around Takeru Kamishiro, who’s a normal office worker. One day he is transferred to the fantasy world of Madeus, where humans and magic coexist. Takeru is given some enhanced battle skills, as well as a cheat skill to search for valuable items. With his new powers, the office worker begins his world in a new life with new friends.
