Hololive is collaborating with One Piece to perform the next two renditions of the opening theme song for the Fish Man Island Saga
In an official announcement to X (formerly Twitter), the One Piece anime has revealed that the next two renditions of the iconic ‘We Go!’ opening theme song will be performed in collaboration with six Hololive Vtuber talents and original singers tied to One Piece.
For the episodes set to air in the month of February, Maki Otsuki, who performed the first ending theme song of the series ‘Memories’, will sing a cover of ‘We Go!’ with Hololive’s Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, and Tsunomaki Watame. The upcoming version of the opening theme will be arranged by Kuge Maon, the same artist who composed the series’ latest ending theme song ‘Dear Sunrise’ in the Egghead Arc. The song will debut on the February 2 broadcast.
Meanwhile, episodes set to air in March will feature Hiroshi Kitadani, the original singer of ‘We Go!’ and various other theme songs in One Piece, as well as Vtubers Takanashi Kiara, Hakos Baelz, and Kobo Kanaeru, with arrangements done by Japanese DJ Teddyloid and music producer tepe. The song will debut on 2 March.
The current opening theme song for One Piece Log: Fish Man Island Saga is a cover performed by HIKAKIN, SEIKIN, and Luffy’s voice actor, Mayumi Tanaka. One Piece Log: Fish Man Island Saga is broadcasting until March 30, 2025, while the continuation of the Egghead Arc will begin in April 2025.
