After breaking the world record for “largest packaged food sentence,” Shishiro Botan has finally received her certificate.
After achieving a world record last August 31, 2024, Shishiro Botan has finally received her Guinness World Record certificate. In a machine-translation of a post to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Shishiro stated that: “I received my Guinness World Records certificate and it looks like I can display it at my company!”
The post also features an image of COVER Corp CEO Motoaki Tanigo holding the certificate and a small plush of Shishiro Botan.
Shishiro Botan achieved the Guinness World Record under the category “largest packaged food sentence” in collaboration with hololive fans and Nissin Foods by arranging a total of 33,138 Nissin cup noodles to spell out Shishiro Botan’s name in celebration of her Birthday in September 2024. The event was held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City at Exhibition Hall B.
Each fan was given one to two cases, with each case containing 20 cup noodles, to form Shishiro Botan’s name. Motoaki Tanigo notably placed the last cup noodle to complete the formation.
Through this event, Shishiro Botan and Nissin Foods broke the previous record held by Pringles India, which laid out a total of 10,005 packs of Pringles to form the phrase ‘Get it back India’ to support India’s cricket team during the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
So far, Shishiro Botan is the first hololive Vtuber to achieve a Guinness World Record.
