Blue Lock Chapter 295 recap

The chapter begins with Nagi remembering how Reo had discovered his skills and forced him to play soccer. He remembers all the ups and downs in their relationship and how Reo had helped him beat Isagi. But now, the two of them have to change, otherwise they won’t be able to move forward. As the match starts, Reo realises that both he and Nagi will have to appeal to the bidders with their plays. If they don’t make it to the top 23, they will not be in Japan's Under 20 World Cup team. Right now, Nagi ranks 11 and Reo ranks 16th. But they have changed their play style to not fall behind the others. They’re not focusing on individual goals but on effective plays that can help the team win and bring their abilities to the forefront.
Otoya and Bachira notice Nagi’s play and wonder why they’ve changed so much. Nagi thinks that it’s not that they're not aiming for goals, but their main objective is making sure they win and stand out. Reo gives an amazing pass to Chigiri, who scores the first goal for Manshine City. Reo thinks that after this goal, Nagi can prove his skills next. The next panel shows Jinpachi Ego congratulating Bastard Munchen on their win and announcing that the match between England and Spain has ended, and the results are in. The final bidding results are also here and the auction salary for the players will be announced.
Isagi is nervous about the announcement because before the match, the difference between his price and Rin’s was almost 50 million Yen. Ego announces that the top 23 players in the list will represent Japan in the Under 20 World Cup. The highest offer for a Blue Lock player is revealed, and it’s Rin, with a bid of 240 million Yen. Isagi is crushed because he still can’t reach Rin after defeating his team in the final match. However, Rin stands beside him and tells him to look up. On the screen, we see Isagi’s name right under Rin’s with a bid of 240 million Yen. He reached the top spot right alongside Rin, and it seems that everyone wants their rivalry to reach new levels. Isagi celebrates the feeling of being No. 1 for the first time.
Blue Lock Chapter 295 review

My boy Isagi has finally accomplished what he set out to do and became the most notorious Egoist from Blue Lock. Fans are really proud to see him standing toe-to-toe with Rin now. But the more interesting part of this whole match and their future is coming next. I’m really eager to see what Reo and Nagi will rank. With the sudden cutoff after the first goal, I’m left wondering whether the duo actually manage to win the match. It would be heartbreaking if only one of them makes it to the top 23, leaving the other behind. But I trust Kaneshiro to not break everyone’s hearts like that.
