Fans are excited to see what happens next as many new actors have joined the cast for the sequel.
The massively popular One Piece live-action series just shared another production update to anticipating fans. The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the show announced that the crew has already wrapped up shooting the second season. This means the project is all set to enter the editing stage now that all the necessary footage is available. The account posted this update with a fantastic picture of the Straw Hats crew that only includes Luffy (Inaki Godoy), Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson), and Sanji (Taz Skylar).
Previously, the Netflix series also updated the fans on the several popular actors who joined the cast this season. This includes Callum Kerr as Smoker, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/ Nefertari Vivi, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday/ Robin, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, and Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0/ Crocodile. Many other actors have also taken up other iconic roles from Eiichiro Oda’s manga series.
Now that filming is complete, fans are eager to see when the second season of the show is finally released on Netflix. Likely, the series won’t air before late 2025 or early 2026. Unfortunately, an exact release window has not been revealed by the production crew yet. Hopefully, fans will soon get another update on the production situation. Everyone is really excited to see the Arabasta Saga, which is one of the most beloved main arcs of the series, come to life on the screen.
