The beloved rom-com manga Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi or, Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days by Yui Tamura is getting an anime adaptation. On 12 March, 2025, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series announced that the anime will air in October 2025. Unfortunately, a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Two new cast members have also been revealed.

The two voice actors for the protagonists of the anime are:
- Tsuyoshi Yano voiced by Kōhei Amasaki (Masachika Kuze in Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian and Will Serfort in Wistoria: Wand and Sword)
- Kiyoko Yoshida voiced by Yuka Nukui (Magino in 2.5 Dimensional Seduction and Sphere in The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor)
Happinet is producing the series with Ajia-do Animation Works animating it. Shinpei Matsuo is the director of the project. Deko Akao is the scriptwriter, while Toshihisa Kaiya is the character designer. Hideakira Kimura is composing the music for the series.
Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days anime story and other details
Yui Tamura’s popular rom-com manga, Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days first started serialising on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in June 2021. A live-action movie starring Yusei Yagi and Anji Ikehata came out in November 2024. This is the first time the manga is getting an anime adaptation.
The story of Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days revolves around the beautiful, kindhearted, and popular girl Kiyoko Yoshida. Due to this, she is selected to be the class president in her second year. When she sees that Tsuyoshi Yano, the guy who sits beside her, comes to school on the first day covered in injuries, Yoshida starts to worry. She secretly follows him around and realises that Yano is actually extremely unlucky and clumsy. As she starts following him around trying to help, Yoshida starts to fall in love with this unlucky yet charming boy.
