The series is set to air sometime in 2025, although the release date hasn’t been announced yet.
The popular Isekai novel series Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin, popularly known as Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra, will receive its anime adaptation this year. This was confirmed by the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Along with the news, fans also received a beautiful illustration of the series’ two central characters - Takuto and Atou.
The official website for the anime series also announced the voice actors for the main characters. It was revealed that Toshiki Kumagai (Yuhi Ohdo in Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! and Hitoyoshi Yokoya in You Are Ms. Servant) will be voicing the protagonist Takuto Ira. On the other hand, Tomori Kusunoki (Makima in Chainsaw Man and Neiru and Airu Aonuma in Wonder Egg Priority) will be the voice of Atou the Sludge. Unfortunately, no other cast or staff details have been revealed as of yet. But we will keep you updated when more details are announced.
The Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra light novel series is written by Fefu Kazuno and illustrated by Jun. It started serializing as a web novel back in 2017. A manga adaptation illustrated by Yasaiko Midorihana started being serialized by Kadokawa in 2020. The story follows a guy named Takuto Ira, who is on his deathbed in a hospital due to a terrible illness. His only solace is a game called Eternal Nations. When he finally dies, Takuto awakens inside the game and meets Atou the Sludge, the hero of his favourite civilization Mynoghra. As they start rebuilding society together, more and more weird and interesting characters join them after being turned away from racist human settlements.
