Written by Shizumu Watanabe, the popular action-supernatural shounen manga, Dead Account, is set to receive an anime adaptation! The news was revealed on X (formerly Twitter), where the official account for Dead Account revealed a teaser visual. A celebratory art piece from the mangaka was also posted on their personal account.
Dead Account staff and cast
The Dead Account anime will be handled by animation studio Synergy SP, though no official staff has been revealed as of yet. We can expect more information in the coming days. A broadcast window has also not been divulged to excited fans.
On the other hand, the announcement did reveal the main cast for Dead Account, with Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia, Karma Akabane in Assassination Classroom) set to voice Enjo Sori, Koki Uchiyama (Glorio in Dragon Ball Daima, Rin Itoshi in BLUELOCK) voicing Kasumi, and Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Cujoh in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Power in Chainsaw Man) for Kiyoyuki Urushigawa.

Dead Account is an action-supernatural shounen manga by Shizumu Watanabe, and was first serialised in 2023 through Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, before being transferred to Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket in the same year. Watanabe is also known for his works, Real Account and Majō no Sasageru Trick (Tricks Dedicated To Witches).
