It seems that not only Vamola, but Momo’s grandmother Seiko is also forgetting her.
The curse of Danmanra is progressing rapidly as we see in the latest chapter of the Dandadan manga. Not only is Momo slowly disappearing from everyone’s mind, but Unji lost all his vision, while Daiki can’t even walk by himself anymore. But before they can even leave for their destination, they will likely be attacked by the Kito family, whose members have escaped. With the depraved criminals back, Jiji will have a hard time keeping an eye on Momo.

Dandadan Chapter 192 recap
The issue starts with Momo saying that she’s disappearing like the pygmies. Jiji asks Vamola if she can see Momo, but the alien girl confusedly asks what that is. Jiji calls Momo’s grandmother Seiko and says that her curse is getting worse. Unfortunately, it seems that Seiko is also forgetting her since she has a hard time recognising her name. Jiji explains that they’re headed for Shimane to bring Momo back to her normal size. Suddenly, Raiya asks them to lend him a hand. He reveals that Unji Zuma has lost all his vision and can’t see anymore while Daiki has become so old that he can’t walk on his own. As Raiya carries Daiki on his back, Vamola extends a hand toward Zuma to guide him the rest of the way. Looking at how badly the Danmanra Curse is progressing, Jiji promises to keep looking at Momo so he doesn’t forget her.
Daiki asks Raiya why he’s helping him when the first time they met, he tried to beat Daiki with a stick. Raiya says that’s because they thought he was the one behind Zuma’s disappearance. He asks why they’ll go so far for Zuma. Raiya answers that Zuma is someone who helped him long back when he was being bullied. In a flashback, we see how not only Raiya, but Zuma saved many people, including a girl, who were having trouble with their family and home life. The girl tried to take her own life by swallowing pills, but Zuma knocked them out of her hands. She tried to argue, stating how her parents abandoned her because she couldn’t keep up with her classmates. But Zuma told her that whenever she feels like that, she can find him and they’ll have fun together.
Zuma gathered people who had given up on life and gave them the assurance they needed to keep going. In the end, he is someone who saved their lives, so everyone in his group will lay down their lives for him. Suddenly, there is an announcement in the airport and we learn that the three criminals arrested from the Kito family back in the Evil Eye arc have broken out. The Kito family matriarch suddenly comes up behind Jiji with a mask over her face and says they’ve been looking for him for a long time. They tracked Momo’s scent on her jacket, but can’t see her. The final panel reveals that the villains plan to attack them after they board the plane.
Dandadan Chapter 192 review
Intense battle incoming! I was definitely ready for Seiko and Momo’s group to face some enemies. We already learned that the main operator behind the power-stealing wants to completely isolate Momo, and a crucial step in that plan is to stop her from returning to normal. But I didn’t expect the Kito family, whom fans may remember from the Evil Eye arc, to come back now. Of course, they have a vendetta against both Momo and Jiji, which means they’ll give the group a hard time. And with both Momo and Zuma out of commission, it might be hard for them to keep up with the enemies. But what I’m most worried about is Jiji forgetting Momo, because then, nobody in the group will remember her and she might be left behind. I’m definitely ready for an emotional rollercoaster in the next part!
