Scopper Gaban hands Luffy the key to unlock Loki’s shackles.
The latest chapter of Eiichiro Oda’s manga series One Piece introduced two new characters who are part of the God’s Knights, or Holy Knights. At first, we saw Luffy and Scopper Gaban face off against one another for the key. But after a while, Scopper gave the key to Luffy after he passed some sort of test. On the other hand, Shamrock and Gunko called two new Holy Knights to Elbaph island.

After how the last chapter ended, fans were hoping for an all-out battle between Luffy and Gaban in the latest episode. However, after realising his strength and resilience, Gaban easily gave up the key to Luffy and told him to meet when everything is over and the island is still standing. Two new enemies made their appearance on the island.
Luffy finally gets the key to Loki’s shackles

The chapter begins with Gaban launching an attack on Luffy. When the Straw Hats leader tries to fight back, the older pirate unleashes a Haki on him, causing part of the castle to fall onto Luffy. However, it doesn’t deter Luffy. The two then start arguing about the Straw Hat Shanks gave him and Scopper understands how much respect Luffy has for his older mentor. When Zoro joins in on the fight and Nami starts warning them about the danger, Scopper realises that the young pirate indeed has a great crew.
Luffy unleashes his Gear 5 form, which turns his hair white. Looking at it, Scopper Gaban smiles. Just as Zoro is about to attack him, he yields and says it was all a joke. Both Luffy and Zoro start yelling at him. The old man says that they already have the key since he attacked Luffy with it earlier, and that there’s no reason for them to fight anymore. He says that if the island is still standing by the time they decide to leave, then Luffy should come meet him. Luffy yells at him angrily that he won’t but Scopper turns around to leave. He remembers the conversation that he had with Shanks about Luffy, and the red-haired pirate had told him to put him to any test to confirm his strength.
Shamrock and Gunko call reinforcements

The chapter moves to a different place on the island, where the students point at a massive bird flying overhead. The bird, which is actually a vehicle for Shamrock and Gunko, lands in an empty field. Gunko volunteers to make the call and creates a magic circle. Amidst some black smoke, two shadowy figures appear on the circle. They turn out to be Saint Shepperd Sommers and Saint Rimoshifu Killingam. Sommers is an older man, who was called together with the sofa he was sitting on. Killingam, on the other hand, has the body of a human but the neck and face of a dragon, and looks very panicked for being late.
They are both shocked to have come to Elbaph and ask Gunko what’s going on. After getting into some decent clothes, Sommers yells at them for calling the two of them without notice. Gunko tells Shamrock that the orders from above have stated that he will have to go back to the Hold Land Mary Geoise, as the situation there is pretty dire. It’s revealed that they plan to kidnap some kids from Elbaph for the first part of their plan. Shamrock says that with the combined powers of Sommers and Killingam, they won’t need to carry the kids and instead, can make it into a game.
It seems that the upcoming chapters will explain the powers of these two new Holy Knights. Oda is ostensibly bringing back the ‘funny villain’ trope which was used at the beginning of the manga. But them being funny doesn’t make them any less dangerous for Luffy, his crew, and the rest of the giants on Elbaph.
