A short PV and new key visual for the movie have been released.
Right after the release of the third anime movie in the new Be Forever Yamato:Rebel 3199 series, a fourth film was announced. This project, titled Mizuiro no Sasha (The Aqua Sasha), is coming out on Friday, 10 October, 2025. A teaser trailer and new visual were also released on the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the movie series.

The short trailer for the upcoming film gave fans a glimpse of the characters they will see again. The stunning new teaser visual depicts battleships seen in the movies. This was drawn by Kia Asamiya, the one in charge of still images for the Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 series. The upcoming movie is the fourth installment in a series of seven films, running for 26 episodes, that have been planned. The Rebel 3199 project is a remake of both the Be Forever Yamato and the Space Battleship Yamato III movies, as well as a sequel of the Star Blazers 2205 duology. It’s based on the original Space Battleship Yamato TV series created by Yoshinobu Nishizaki and Leiji Matsumoto.
The first Rebel 3199 movie, titled Dark Invasion, came out on 19 July 2024, followed by the second film The Assault of the Burning Sun on 22 November 2024. The third and latest movie released on 11 April, 2025, and the fourth movie was announced on the same day. After this, three more movies will be released in theaters. The production team from the last three movies will also work on the fourth film.
