The story takes place in a world where there used to be only one season—Winter. Bored with his lonely existence, Winter cut off a part of himself to bring forth Spring. Mother Earth wished for Summer and Autumn, and they were born. Throughout the ages, the task of changing the seasons fell upon humans known as Agents of the Four Seasons. The main plot revolves around the Agent of Spring Hinagiku, and her devoted guard Sakura—who embark on a journey to bring back spring to the world after Hinagiku was kidnapped for 10 long years.
