Suzuhito Yasuda’s manga announced its conclusion in the manga’s 33rd volume.
Suzuhito Yasuda’s long running manga series Yozakura Quartet revealed that the next volume will be its final one. The 33rd volume of the series came out on 9 April, 2025, and also announced that it will be ending soon. The manga entered its final arc back in December 2022, and has been building up an impending climax slowly.
Yozakura Quartet Volume 34 will be its last

The Yozakura Quartet manga first began serialising in January 2006 in the Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine by Kodansha. It was first adapted into an anime series by Nomad in 2008. A three-episode OVA came out in 2011, followed by the second season in 2013. The anime received another OVA series in the same year. Other than Yozakura Quartet, Yasuda has also done character designs for Digimon, Dive!! and Salaryman’s Club anime. He did the illustrations for popular light novel series such as Durarara! and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
The story of Yozakura Quartet focuses on four teenagers named Hime, Akina, Ao, and Kotoha. Hime has superpowers, Ao can read others’ minds, and Kotoha can summon things with the right words. Although Akina is just a normal boy surrounded by three powerful girls, the four of them are a team that have devoted themselves to protect the town of Sakurashin. But when more powerful enemies start to appear, this mismatched group will have to up their game and meet them head-on.
