Fushi’s story is coming to an end.
The fantasy drama manga series To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anate e) has revealed in its latest 24th volume release that the series is set to end with its 25th volume. The manga is written by Yoshitoko Oima, who rose to acclaim with A Silent Voice, and is currently in its Future Arc.
To Your Eternity to wrap up with 25th volume, Season 3 anime in the works

The 25th volume is yet to receive a release date, but the 24th volume containing the announcement shipped out today, 16 April. Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga physically in English, while Crunchyroll is simulpubbing the manga digitally in English with the Japanese version.
To Your Eternity started serialisation in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2016, and marks Oima’s second venture into manga-making after the critically-acclaimed A Silent Voice. To Your Eternity inspired an anime series, with the first season being directed by Masahiko Murata and animated by Brain’s Base. It aired in April 2021 after facing delays due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and ran for 20 episodes.
The second season premiered in October 2022, and ran until March 2023 with a total of 20 episodes. Kiyoko Sayama replaced Masahiko Murata as director, with Dive taking on the helm as animation studio. No information about Season 3 is available as of yet. But we can expect details in the following months.
MyAnimeList describes the plot of the first season as:
An Orb, known only as It, is cast to Earth to be observed from afar. Capable of changing forms from beings whose reflections It captures, It first becomes a rock and then, due to the rising temperature, moss.
It does not move until one snowy day, a wolf at death's door barely crosses by. When It takes the animal's form, It attains awareness of its consciousness and starts to wander with an unclear destination in mind. Soon, It comes across the wolf's master—a young boy waiting for his tribe to return from a paradise abundant with fish and fruit in the south. Although the boy is lonely, he still hopes those whom he holds dear in his memories have not forgotten him and that he will reunite with them one day.
The boy wants to explore new surroundings and decides to abandon his home with It to find the paradise using the traces his tribe left behind. However, with a heavily injured body and no sight of his elder comrades, what will become of the boy?
Fumetsu no Anata e illustrates the story of an immortal being experiencing humanity, meeting all types of people in many places throughout time.
