Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi began serialising in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022. The story revolves around Kanan, a devious demon who descended upon Earth to devour the sweet and naive souls of young boys. Her first target is a student named Yoji Kugi. However, instead of devouring him, Kanan starts a romantic contract with Yoji, who has fallen in love with her. Despite having lived for thousands of years, falling in love is a first for Kanan. She can’t help but feel excited about holding hands with her lover and going home together after school. More characters join the protagonists who want to have a romantic high school experience.
