Mission: Yozakura Family final volume includes a 15 page epilogue

A brand-new novel has also been published.

The 29th and final volume of Hitsuji Gondaira’s popular manga Mission: Yozakura Family was published on 4 March 2025. The series published its 258th and final chapter on January 19, 2025 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The author celebrated the release of the final volume of the series with his fans on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Mission: Yozakura Family volume 29 has a 15-page epilogue

The author of the manga series, Hitsuji Gondaira shared the news of the final volume’s release on his social media. He also added that there will be an extra 15 pages of an epilogue story that takes place after the manga. Of course, fans are excited to see a little bit more of their favourite characters before saying goodbye to them forever.

Moreover, the author also shared that the third novel spin-off, titled Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen Hifumi to Alpha no Seichō Kiroku-hen, has also been released on 4 March 2025. The manga first started serialising in August 2020, and ended in January 2025. Two novel spin-offs were also released in October 2022 and July 2023. The anime adaptation by Silver Link came out in 2024, and was immensely popular. A second season is set to air in 2026.

The story of Mission: Yozakura Family follows Taiyo Asano, a boy who lost his entire family in a car crash. His only respite in life is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura, who refuses to leave him when he tries to push her away. However, one day, Taiyo discovers that Mutsumi comes from a family of dangerous spies with superhuman abilities. Taiyo somehow becomes Mutsumi’s husband following an attack on her life. He vows to train as a spy and protect her with his life and become a part of the Yozakura Family.
