Multiple cast members were also revealed.
The official website of Utahime Dream as well as its X (formerly Twitter) account announced the upcoming arrival of a new anime based on the project. The multi-media franchise by Earth Star Entertainment first started back in 2023. Many songs, including covers and originals, as well as events and singles, have been created under this project.
The main cast members are:
- Rena Yamazaki as Ibuki Yumesaki
- Anna Suzuki as Maika Sakuragi
- Arisa Sonohara as Kiyomi Mashiro
- Kaya as HiREN
- Karin Hisobe as Hikari Mizutsuki
- Tomomi Jiena Sumi as Rin Takagi
- Reo Kurachi as Himawari Hagiwara
- Yume Takeuchi as SAKURAKO
Utahime Dream revealed a celebratory illustration with the announcement
To celebrate the anime, gomzi, the character designer of Kiyomi Mashiro, made an illustration. As mentioned before, the Utahime Dream project is based on the idol life, with many characters using their singing and performing abilities to win the title of Utahime Queen. The manga series based on the mixed-media project started serialisation in Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star website in February 2025. The singers featured in the project have sung various covers and original songs.
Two of their songs were featured as theme songs in the My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered and the I Parry Everything anime series. Some of their upcoming songs will likely also be included in other anime projects. Unfortunately, the release date or staff for the anime have yet to be announced.
