The series will focus on a group of girls trying to help their friend in a virtual reality environment.
Ahead of her album release on 28 February, Korean pop star Lisa has unveiled a new project. Her newfound comics company LaLisa Comics will release a brand new manga/graphic novel. The book is called Alter Ego, which is also the title of Lisa’s upcoming album. Fans can pre-order the manga on the official LaLisa Comics website for $19.99. The story is set in a futuristic cyberpunk world where fans will be able to dip their toes into an alternate reality.
Lisa is creating an original story for the 56-page comic book, while artist MinoMiyabi is in charge of the illustrations. The dialogues were written by Brandon Montclare, while Josh Frankel edited the book. Derick Jones designed the backgrounds for Alter Ego. This book is a limited edition to accompany Lisa’s debut album Alter Ego. The story is set in a cyberpunk city. The five main characters of the book are Roxi, Sunni, Kiki, Speedi, and Vixi. One day, when some vicious bullies trap tech genius Vixi inside a virtual reality nightmare, her four friends dive into the battleground to help their friend escape.

It has a total of 12 tracks, including ‘Born Again’ featuring Doja Cat and RAYE, ‘Rockstar’, ‘When I’m With You’ featuring Tyla, ‘FXCK UP THE WORLD’ featuring Future, and ‘Rapunzel’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
The last two songs will also have Vixi and Kiki solo versions on Spotify.
