Renowned manga series My Dress-up Darling revealed its last chapter date after 7 years of publication.

My Dress-up Darling, renowned seinen manga from Shinichi Fukada, revealed its last chapter date after 7 years of publication. The manga will end on the 21 March, 2025 edition of Young Gangan. The revelation came up on the last panel of chapter 114 of the manga, on the 21 February, 2025 edition of Young Gangan magazine. My Dress-up Darling is scheduled to end on chapter 115.

The manga launched in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in January 2018. It has been compiled in 14 volumes since November 2024. While it began as a weekly serialization, My Dress-up Darling switched to a monthly serialisation on 15 September, 2023.

The publication inspired a television anime adaptation that lasted for 12 episodes, produced by Studio CloverWorks. The anime premiered in January 2022 on the Winter 2022 season. A second season is set to air sometime in 2025. The manga also inspired a live-action series adaptation, which premiered in Japan in October 2024.

My Dress-Up Darling revolves around the unlikely friendship and budding romance between Wakana Gojo, a reserved high school boy with a passion for making Hina dolls, and Marin Kitagawa, a vibrant and outgoing girl who loves cosplay. Their worlds collide when Marin discovers Wakana's sewing skills and asks him to create a costume for her favorite character. Through their collaboration, Wakana learns to embrace his unique talents, while Marin discovers the joy of bringing her cosplay dreams to life.

My Dress-Up Darling tackles a heartwarming tale of self-discovery, acceptance, and the magic that happens when two people with contrasting personalities come together to support each other's passions. The story beautifully captures the essence of creativity and friendship, making it a delightful read for fans of romance and slice-of-life genres.
