A new visual teaser featuring a lot of the characters has also been released.
The official website of the WITCH WATCH anime has finally revealed the definitive release date of the show. It was announced that the anime will release its first episode on April 6, 2025, with new episodes following weekly. With this announcement, a new preview video and visual was also released on the YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) accounts of the show.
The new trailer features some funny moments from the upcoming series. We see Nico’s shenanigans as a new witch who moved to a new city after finishing her training. She starts living with Morihito, her ogre childhood friend who is now her familiar and has vowed to protect her. With Nico’s witch power, which tends to go awry from time-to-time, she gets into trouble. Unfortunately, she also pulls Morihito and others alongside her. The hilarious journey has been perfectly captured in the short trailer, which also features the side characters of the series. The show’s theme song Watch Me! performed by YOASOBI was also included in the trailer.
Based on Kenta Shinohara’s popular manga, the WITCH WATCH anime also unveiled a new teaser. Nico, Morihito, Kanshi, Keigo, and Nemu are all featured in the new illustration. The main cast members have been previously revealed, as well as additional cast and staff. The series will simultaneously air on both Crunchyroll and Netflix. Depending on your location, you will be able to watch the show on any of these platforms.
