Another series bites the dust in early 2025.

Undead Unluck is set to conclude in the Weekly Shonen Jump issue number 9, released on January 27, 2025. This marks the end of an era for fans who have followed the thrilling adventures of Fuuko and Andy. The final two volumes, 26 and 27 of the series, which is known for its unique blend of battle action and supernatural elements, and a third novel, are scheduled for release in April 2025.

In addition to the manga’s conclusion, an original anime special is set to air in Winter 2025. This hour-long special promises to deliver intense action and emotional moments, continuing the legacy of Undead Unluck in a new format. The anime adaptation has been well-received, and this special is highly anticipated by fans.

Since its debut in 2020, Undead Unluck has been praised for its innovative storytelling and dynamic characters. Fuuko’s ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches and Andy’s quest for a permanent death have created a compelling story. As the series ends, fans can look forward to the final volumes and the upcoming anime special, which will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the Undead Unluck legacy.

January 2025 wasn't a kind one for manga readers, as two of the most prominent manga in the current era announced to end this month. The first was Mission: Yozakura Family, which ended in January 2025, and the second is Undead Unluck. However, big names in Shueisha weren't the only ones getting the sharp end of the axe; No/Name manga by Cyberpunk: Edgerunner writer Rafal Jaki was cancelled after 14 episodes.
