Due to production issues, the 12th and final episode of the series was delayed.
The 5th season of the popular fantasy anime series Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? or DanMachi started airing back in October 2024. The show was scheduled for 12 episodes, with one coming out weekly. The 12th episode was supposed to air sometime in December, however, production issues pushed back its release.
Fans have been waiting for the final episode of the 5th season, as episode 11 ended on a little cliffhanger. Thankfully, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the DanMachi series announced that the 12th episode will air in early Spring 2025. The official release date is yet to be revealed. However, the anime’s PR team will likely announce the airing date soon. Those who were let down by the show’s sudden and indefinite hiatus finally have something to look forward to.
Based on the light novel series by Fujino Ōmori, the DanMachi anime aired its first season back in 2015. The second, third, and fourth instalments were released in 2019, 2020, and 2022. The fifth season released 11 episodes in 2024, with another one coming out soon. The story of the series revolves around Bell Cranel, a young adventurer who has feelings for a powerful swordsman named Ais Wallenstein. Bell’s ability grants him the power to gain more strength as his feelings grow stronger. Although he catches the eyes of a lot of other girls during his adventures, Bell only has feelings for Ais.
