The second reprint of Ichi The Witch volume one will grace readers alongside the release of volume two.
Ichi The Witch announced the second reprint of its volume one after the first sold out. The manga from Shiro Usazaki and Osamu Nishi has proven to be a popular series, taking readers by storm. The second reprint, or third edition of volume one, will grace fans on 4 March, 2025.
In the same announcement, Ichi The Witch also revealed the cover for volume two, featuring the strongest witch in the series, Desscaras, who also served as Ichi's mentor in the manga. Volume two of Ichi The Witch will also be released on 4 March, 2025.
Ichi The Witch not only piqued the interest of manga readers all around the world, but also a couple of renowned manga artists. Horikoshi Kosei of My Hero Academia fame recommended his fans give Osamu Nishi's manga a read. Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, also showed support for the series.
Ichi The Witch tells the story of Ichi, a boy who lives alone in the mountains whilst earning his living as a hunter. While he respects the value of life, hunting is a deep passion for him. One day, a century-old evil nature spirit who can not be defeated by a woman appears. Ichi happens to have the unique power to tame this spirit.
In Ichi The Witch's world, a being who fights with the power of strong nature spirits is called a witch. However the abilities of a witch are limited to women. Ichi, who tamed the spirit, begins his journey to be the first man to become a witch.
