The four main voice actors for the series have also been announced.
The official website, and X (formerly Twitter) account of the Kizetsu Yūsha to Ansatsu Hime, or ‘The Fainting Hero and the Assassin Princesses’, series just announced its anime adaptation. It was revealed that the anime will air sometime in 2025, although a definitive release date hasn’t been decided as of yet. Along with the project, the names of the four voice actors who will lend their voices to the main characters of the series were also announced. A visual and a short trailer for the anime have also been revealed.
The anime series is being produced by Connect with Noriaki Akitaya as the director. Michiko Yokote is in charge of the scripts while Takao Sano is designing the characters and Shun Narita is composing the music. The cast of the series so far includes:
- Shunsuke Takeuchi (Kyoutani Kentaro in Haikyu!! and Tokiwa in How I Attended an All Guys’ Mixer) as Toto
- Iori Saeki (Tsubaki in The Quintessential Quintuplets and Mika in Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) as Ciel
- Hitomi Ueda (Tendo in Chainsaw Man and Yoshino Somei in Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii) as Anemone
- Haruka Shiraishi (Alice in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Wendy Sato in High Card) as Gore
Written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukiji Setsuda, the Kizetsu Yūsha to Ansatsu Hime manga is set in a fantasy world. It follows the powerful yet shy hero Toto, who is having trouble building his party. Suddenly, three gorgeous women by the name of Ciel, Anemone, and Gore approach Toto and show interest in joining his party. Unbeknownst to the hero, all three of them are actually trying to assassinate him.
