The episode begins with Shin yelling at Lu for being late and not stacking the shelves properly. Suddenly, Sakamoto speaks up and tells both of them to calm down. The two young workers are shocked to hear him speak so much and Shin deduces that something is wrong. Suddenly, the door to the shop opens and another Sakamoto walks in. The two get into a fight that ends in a standstill. The chatty Sakamoto suddenly changes his appearance into that of a tall, black-haired man who seems to love lying. Sakamoto introduces him as Nagumo, a hitman and former co-worker of his.
Nagumo informs them that the JAA has put a bounty of one billion yen on Sakamoto’s head, which nobody believes because of his tendency to lie. However, the pizza delivery guy suddenly attacks Sakamoto with two pizza cutters. After subjugating him, Sakamoto wonders why the JAA will suddenly put such a huge bounty on his head. Nagumo leaves with the unconscious pizza hitman and says he doesn’t know the answer to that. Later, Hana excitedly approaches Sakamoto and Shin about their upcoming outing to the Sugar Bunny theme park.

It’s revealed that there was a camera in the pizza box which the hitman took to the Sakamoto store. Some assassins watch Sakamoto through it and come up with a new plan of attack. On the day of their outing, Sakamoto easily takes down an assassin who disguised himself as a janitor after Shin read his mind. Another assassin decides to completely empty his mind so Shin wouldn't identify him. The Sakamoto family gets on a roller coaster with Shin and Lu riding at the very back. Shin barely identifies the assassin in time and takes him on so the Sakamoto family can have a good outing.
During their fight on the roller coaster rails, the assassin attacks Shin with some shurikens dipped in poison. This causes Shin to lose his vision. However, he follows the direction of Sakamoto’s mental voice and drops down with the assassin onto the stage where the Sugar Bunny show is taking place. After that, he uses the Sugar Bunny disguise to beat up the man while Sakamoto instructs him on how to do it. Despite losing his vision, Shin defeats the assassin and saves the Sakamoto family.
Much like the second episode, the latest instalment of the anime also had some pretty fun and intense action sequences. Fans are also excited about Nagumo, who will become a central character of the series eventually. The Sakamoto Days episode 4 release date is set to be Saturday, February 1, 2025. The episode will introduce another new character called Hard-Boiled. You can watch all episodes of the series on Netflix.
