Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is adapted from Asato Mizu’s manga series of the same name. It follows Shōta Raido, a high school student who has been shunned all his life due to his tall body and scary demeanor. Raido is determined to make friends in high school, and tries to talk to his seatmate, who seems to completely ignore him. However, the short and petite girl is actually Reina Aharen, who has also been rejected by everyone for becoming too clingy. Raido decides that he will become friends with Aharen and help her throughout their time together. What ensues is a chaotic and hilarious adventure of two unlikely friends.
