The 13th and final episode of the popular romance anime My Happy Marriage Season 2 came out on 9 April, 2025. Right after the release, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the series announced a new anime project. It was not announced what the project will be (maybe season 3? Or a movie?), but fans are nonetheless excited to see Miyo and Kiyoka back on screen. A short preview for the same was also released.
My Happy Marriage new anime project is coming
The preview for the upcoming anime was released on both X and YouTube. However, it hasn’t been announced if the upcoming anime will be season 3, a movie, or maybe another OVA. A key visual commemorating the finale featuring Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudou was revealed as well. Since the project is already under production, fans will get to know the details about it pretty soon!
The second season of My Happy Marriage was a mixed bag. The new villain Naoshi Usui was intimidating and formidable. Although Miyo and Kiyoka were able to finally bring him down, his tragic past left an emotional scar on the fans. The development in the relationship between the two protagonists was also beautiful and adorable, despite Kiyoka’s mother’s attempts to undermine Miyo.
