Can you believe it’s been 6 years since the Demon Slayer anime began?
With Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba celebrating its 6th anniversary last 6 April, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime has revealed some good news for fans as they wait for the upcoming Infinity Castle Arc movie: all five television specials of the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc is now available to stream on Crunchyroll!

The Unwavering Resolve Arc is essentially the first season of the Demon Slayer anime, and covers the beginning of the story of Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado. The five TV specials summarise each of the arcs covered in Season 1, and are as follows:
- Sibling’s Bond Arc - Tanjiro’s family is annihilated by a mysterious demon, save for his little sister Nezuko, who survives only to transform into a flesh eating demon. Determined to save her, Tanjiro, with the help of a demon slayer named Giyuu Tomioka, goes under the training of the harsh yet caring retired Water Pillar Sakonji Urukodaki. As Tanjiro learns the Water Breathing form, he undergoes the final selection to be initiated into the Demon Slayer Corps.
- Asakusa Arc - Now a fully-fledged demon slayer, Tanjiro, along with Nezuko, encounter two rouge demons named Tamayo and Yushiro, who are not under the control of demon king Muzan. With Muzan wanting Tanjiro’s head, two demons named Susamaru and Yahaba come after the siblings in Tamayo’s mansion.
- Tsuzumi Mansion Arc - Tanjiro meets fellow demon slayer, the crybaby Zenitsu Agatsuma, as they are sent up to investigate a mysterious mansion where no one leaves alive. Tasked with saving a child from the demons inside the mansion, Tanjiro and Zenitsu face off against formidable enemies alongside the rowdy and violent boar-head wearing Inosuke Hashibara.
- Mt. Natagumo Arc - Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are tasked to quell a mountain full of demons, but are in for the shock of their lives when the head honcho is none other than the incredibly powerful spider demon Rui, who is a member of Muzan’s Upper Moon circle, essentially the most powerful demons under his control.
- Hashira Meeting Arc - As Tanjiro’s secret about Nezuko is revealed, he is brought along to the mansion of Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the head of the Demon Slayer Corps, to undergo a trial for violating the Demon Slayer code. With Nezuko’s fate hanging in the balance, the Demon Slayer Pillars come together to discuss just what needs to be done: should Nezuko be spared or killed?
Demon Slayer enters its final arc with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie
The Infinity Castle arc is the final battle story arc of the manga by Gotouge. It focuses on the ultimate battle for survival between the Demon Slayers and the demons directly under Muzan. As the creator of all demons, Muzan is extremely powerful. But that doesn’t mean the 12 Moons, including Kokushibo, Douma, and Akaza, are any less powerful themselves. Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayer corps will find themselves in grave danger in the upcoming films.
The movie is set to release in Japan on 18 July, with international release dates starting in August 2025.
The movie will be released in both Japanese and English subtitles, including an English dub, and will be released in IMAX and other premium large formats. Crunchyroll will be distributing the film alongside Sony Pictures Entertainment.
