Set to return on 3 July, the hit anime is bringing back Momo and Okarun for nonstop action!
After an unwitting reveal of the broadcast date for Dan Da Dan Season 2, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the animation studio behind the series, Science SARU, has revealed an official key visual. The KV features Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny, as they’re ready to face off against their next formidable opponent: the menacing Evil Eye!

In the same vein, the official X account for the anime has revealed the voice behind Evil Eye: Mutsumi Tamura. Tamura is known for voicing Tae Nakanoshima in Kaiju No.8, Framrodia Byandiraz in Dead Mount Death Play, and Ermes Costello in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.
The main cast for Season 1 are also set to return to their roles:
- Momo Ayase: Shion Wakayama
- Ken Takakura (Okarun): Natsuki Hanae
- Aira Shiratori: Ayane Sakura
- Seiko Ayase: Nana Mizuki
- Jin Enjouji (Jiji): Kaito Ishikawa
- Turbo Granny: Mayumi Tanaka
Fuuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora are set to return as directors of the series.
Dan Da Dan Season 2 plot and other details
Based on the hit shounen manga by Tatsu Yukinobu, Dan Da Dan’s second season will pick up where Season 1 left off. With Okarun and Jiji discovering the menacing hidden room in Jiji’s house, the people of the village appear to become a larger threat than what they seem. And with Momo separated from the rest, how will the gang come together to solve this mystery?
But there’s more to this series of events that meet the eye, as Jiji’s connection with what could be a malevolent spirit may spell certain doom!
