The much-awaited Chainsaw Man movie is coming to a theatre near you, and soon!
The sequel movie to the hit anime Chainsaw Man is set to come out in Japanese theatres on 19 September, 2025, with a further 80 countries and territories also included for its international release. The movie was first announced in 2024 at Jump Festa 2025.
Chainsaw Man - the Movie: Reze Arc is a continuation to the 2022 anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s popular dark fantasy manga, Chainsaw Man. The movie is set to cover the “Reze arc” of the story, where main character Denji, who is also Chainsaw Man, encounters a mysterious young woman named Reze. As a probable romance begins to form between the two, Denji must grapple with his conflicting feelings, his desire for Makima, and a mysterious and dangerous new devil who is deadset on blowing it all away.
Chainsaw Man - the Movie: Reze Arc is handled by Mappa, who did the first season of the anime series. No second season has been confirmed as of yet.
