This is the fourth and final season of the popular series.
Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE, which is the fourth season of the anime, just released the final episode of cour 1. Right after, it was announced on the official website and X (Formerly Twitter) account that the season will return with cour 2 in July 2025, which is the Summer anime season. A celebratory artwork by the show’s character designer Yuko Iwasa was also released to commemorate this news.
Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE is the final season of the anime
Based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the Dr. Stone anime is one of the most successful series of recent years. Produced by TMS Entertainment, the show first aired in December 2019, with the second season following in March 2021. The third season aired in two split cours from April - June 2023, and October - December 2023. The fourth and final season has been split in three cours. The first cour began in January 2025 and came to an end on 27, March 2025. The second cour was announced immediately after.
The director of the series is Shinya Iino, while Yuichiro Kido is the script writer. Character designing is done by Yuko Iwasa. The show’s music is composed by Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yuki Kanesaka. The main cast of the final season includes:

The story of Dr. Stone revolves around young genius Senku Ishigami. 3000 years after a strange phenomenon turns every human on earth to stone, Senku is freed. Along with his friend Taiju, Senku vows to rebuild the world with the power of science. However, this goal is not as easy as he thinks because some other people who woke up want to stop him no matter what.
