Hololive's Hoshimachi Suisei was announced as the ending theme performer for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX has announced that Hololive's resident singer and vtuber, Hoshimachi Suisei, will perform the ending song for the anime TV series. Suisei's song Mou Dou Natte mo Iiya (I Don't Care) was selected as the ending of the upcoming anime TV Series. The song was also featured on the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- as an insert song.
Suisei's song will accompany Kenshi Yonezu's Plazma, which was selected as the opening theme of the anime TV series.
Besides the announcement for the ending song, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX also revealed the visual for the series featuring its protagonist, Amate “Machu” Yuzuriha, and the aforementioned Gundam GQuuuuuuX in the background. Alongside the visual, the newest entry in the Gundam franchise also shared a promotional reel featuring Machu and the other main characters: Nyaan and Shuji.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX tells the story of Yuzuriha “Machu” Amate, who is selected as the pilot of the titular Gundam GQuuuuuuX. She is a high school student living a quiet life in a space colony. However, her life becomes chaotic after meeting Nyaan, a war refugee.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the first series in the long line of Mobile Suit Gundam series to be co-produced by Studio Khara. Hideaki Anno from Neon Genesis Evangelion fame was chosen to be the writer and storyboarder for the series, while Kazuya Tsurumaki, former assistant director of Anno, was chosen as the director of the series.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video this 8 April, 2025.
