The fantasy gourmet anime series, Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! has revealed some new details. The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the show announced that the first episode will premiere in July 2025. Unfortunately, a definitive release date hasn’t been revealed yet. The main cast of the series was also announced.

The two main cast members of the series are:
- Dennis voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi (Einar in Vinland Saga and Kyoutani Kentaro in Haikyu!!)
- Atelier voiced by Marika Tachibana (Yuna Ichihara in Love and be Loved, Kick and Kick)
The anime series is being produced by OLM, with Jōji Shimura (Love All Play, Blade of the Phantom Master) as the director. Deko Akao (Komi Can’t Communicate, The Case Study of Vanitas) is the screenwriter and series composer. Aoi Yamato (Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout, Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale) is the character designer while Masato Kōda (Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill) is handling the music for the show.
Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! story and other details
The anime series is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Yūki Kimikawa and illustrated by Gaou. Although it first serialised online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, it has since been acquired by overlap and three novel volumes have been published. Overlap’s Comic Gardo website also serialises the manga adaptation by Tsumumi. KaitenBooks publishes the official English version of the manga outside of Japan.
The story of Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! takes place in a fantasy world. Dennis, the protagonist, is the most popular member of the strongest adventurer’s party, the Silverwing Battalion. Jealous of his fame, the party leader expels him from the group. Out of a job, Dennis decides to pursue his true passion of becoming a chef. He opens a restaurant for adventurers with Atelier, a young girl who was also kicked out of her home. But it might not be as easy to serve eclectic customers around the clock.
