The much-anticipated magical boy anime Cute High Earth Defense Club Haikara! (High Colour) just announced its cast and staff details. The sequel anime was announced last month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! anime that came out in 2015. It has been announced that the new anime is coming out on 7 July, 2025. The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the show also unveiled the cast and theme songs.

Previously, we learned that Shinji Takamatsu, who directed the original anime, will also be directing the new show under Studio DEEN. It has since been revealed that Takashi Aoshima will be writing the series scripts. Ayashi Murakami is the character designer and chief animation director. Kana Tsuchimoto is designing the props with Yukiko Maruyama as the art director. Imari Katsuragi is the colour key artist while Keiko Onodera is in charge of editing. Yamazo is handling the music with Yoko Kawahara as the music producer. Shinji Takamatsu is the sound director while Pony Canyon is the company handling music production.
Haikara Roman-dan (High Colour Romance Group), the central magical boy group of the anime is performing the opening theme song ‘Haikara de Go!!’ The team’s in-universe rival group Bankara Shinei-tai (Bankara New Elite Squad) are performing the ending theme song ‘Zanko in your eyes’. The Haikara Roman-dan group will also begin a podcast in July. The official YouTube channel of the series is also airing selected episodes from the original show for free.
