Hololive EN member Nanashi Mumei's phone was being passed around to a surprising amount of other group members.
Hololive English Holo Council member Nanashi Mumei has her phone passed around to other members for an unknown reason. The phone was first held by FUWAMOCO, going around to several members before finally being received by Mumei's manager, mooma. The members ensured that every Mumei's followers knew by announcing it via an X tweet each time they got their hands on the phone.
The incident went viral on the Hololive community, with FUWAMOCO's tweet reaching 700,000 views on X and over 27,000 likes. After FUWAMOCO's tweet, the phone was given to Gigi Murin from Holo -Justice-, and Koseki Bijou from Holo -Advent-, before finally reaching mooma.
So far, the only explanation for why the phone was being rotated around to Hololive EN members was because Mumei asked them to post something. However, One Redditor theorised that Mumei's manager, mooma, misplaced the phone, which was found by FUWAMOCO. While the theory is interesting, it was debunked when FUWAMOCO delivered Mumei's greeting to her followers.
Other Reddit user said that her phone might come to user hands if the user didn't pay attention. One X user plead for the girls to free Mumei, insinuating that she was held prisoner by them. Other X user also reacted to the FUWAMOCO post by saying the bird has been captured by the dogs.
While it wasn't in Mumei's possession, it seemed that the account's original owner knew exactly what was happening, with FuwaMoco delivering a greeting from the Guardian of Civilization itself. This was also pointed out when mooma delivered a birthday wish to iRys, a fellow Holo Council member with permission from Mumei.
The girls met with each other because of the HOLOLIVE Super Expo 2025 that is happening on 8 to 9 April, 2025. The event is significant for the company as all members will perform on stage, including the recently announced graduating member, Murasaki Shion.
Nanashi Mumei's last stream was on 8 March 2025, with FUWAMOCO playing Overwatch 2, while her last idol activity was with the recently graduated Ceres Fauna, performing the song “It's not a Phase”.
