After some really great teasers about the protagonists Lilisa and Otoha, the Rock is a Lady’s Modesty anime has finally unveiled a full trailer. The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the series also revealed a new teaser visual, which includes two new characters. It was announced that the Rock is a Lady’s Modesty anime will begin airing on 3 April, 2025.

The two new voice actors who have joined the project are:
- Ayaka Fukuhara as Tina Izemi (Sayaka Igarashi in Kakegurui and Taro Misaki in Captain Tsubasa)
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Tamaki Shiroya (Damian Desmond in Spy x Family and Dimaria Yesta in Fairy Tail)
Previously it was announced that Lilisa Suzunomiya is being voiced by Akira Sekine while Otoha Kurogane is being voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro.
Bandai Namco Pictures is producing the upcoming series, with Shinya Watada directing it. Ōri Yasukawa is the assistant director while Risa Miyadani is the character designer. Series composition is being handled by Shogo Yasukawa. The opening theme song of the series is ‘Ready to Rock’ by Band-Maid and the ending theme is ‘Yume Janai nara Nan'nanosa’ by Little Glee Monster.

The anime is based on Hiroshi Fukuda’s manga of the same name. Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine has been publishing the manga since 2022. The latest trailer of the series finally highlighted two new characters who will complete Lilisa and Otoha’s band. These members are keyboard player Tina Izemi and bassist Tamaki Shiroya.
The story of Rock is a Lady’s Modesty revolves around Lilisa, the daughter of a wealthy family. With her blond twintails, Lilisa looks like a troublemaker, but in her new elite all-girls’ school, she is extremely polite and well-behaved. One day, she meets the beautiful and soft-spoken Otoha, who seems like the paragon of virtue. But soon Lilisa finds the hideout where Otoha plays drums, turning into a completely different person while doing so. It reignites Lilisa’s own desire to play rock music on the guitar and the two join hands to practice. More talented musicians start taking notice and want to join them.
