The second season of the slice-of-life comedy is set to warm the hearts of fans again.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the hit slice-of-life comedy, Aharen-san is Indecipherable, has revealed that the second season is scheduled to broadcast on 7 April, 2025.
The announcement was paired with a second promotional video, which depicts the many adventures that Aharen and Raidou will undertake in the season to come.

Alongside the promotional video and the broadcast date announcement, the official account has also unveiled a key visual, which features Raidou and Aharen in a beach setting alongside their fellow classmates.
The first season explored the budding friendship of the silent Reina Aharen with the intimidating Matsuboshi Raidou, the latter of whom wished to change his image upon entering high school.
MyAnimeList describes the plot of Season 1 as:
Beginning his first year of high school, all Matsuboshi Raidou wants is to make friends—starting with the cute, tiny, and soft-spoken Reina Aharen, who sits right next to him in class. Unbeknownst to Raidou, Reina shares the same sentiment, but she has a problem. Awkward and timid, Reina is incapable of determining how chummy she has to be when approaching a person.
Due to Reina's complete inability to gauge personal space, the two struggle to spark their unlikely friendship, as even the simplest tasks like talking seem impossible for them. But despite the countless yet pointless challenges that hinder the pair, the overly imaginative Raidou will do whatever it takes to befriend the indecipherable Reina.

Ryou Aizawa is slated as producer, with Tomoe Makino and Yasutaka Yamamoto filling the director role. Nobuyuki Abe is credited as sound director. Felix Film is once again animating this season.
