Yugo Kobayashi's cooking manga, Fermat no Ryouri announced the main cast of its anime adaptation featuring a former Sasaki to Miyano cast member.

Fermat no Ryouri (Fermat's Cuisine) has officially announced the main cast for its anime adaptation. Ryosuke Tomita from Sasaki to Miyano fame was cast for the role of Gaku Kitada, while Taito Ban filled the role of Kai Asakura. The announcement was made on Fermat no Ryouri's official anime adaptation website and X social media account.

The official X account of Fermat no Ryouri's anime adaptation also confirmed that it will be participating in AnimeJapan 2025 on the BLUE stage on 23 March, 2025.

Fermat no Ryouri centers on Gaku Kitada, a socially withdrawn math genius whose life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles into the culinary world from Kai Asakura's Resturant K. After abandoning his academic career, Gaku applies his analytical mind to cooking, treating recipes like complex equations—calculating flavor ratios, optimising textures through geometry, and reimagining dishes with scientific precision.

Fermat no Ryouri is made by Yugo Kobayashi, who might be better known from his sports manga, Ao Ashi. The cooking manga has been in circulation from December 2018, and thus far has been compiled into four volumes of Tankoubon. The series has also been adapted into a live-action television drama on October 2023 that lasted for 10 episodes.

The anime adaptation of Fermat no Ryouri hasn't officially announced its broadcast date yet.
