The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 story

Based on the light novel series by Aneko Yusagi, the anime follows Naofumi Iwatani, who is summoned into another world and given a legendary shield. When the other heroes surpass him with their weapons and he’s betrayed by his only companion, Naofumi becomes cynical. He starts living a life of despair and buys a demi-human girl named Raphtalia and an egg that hatches into a bird monster named Filo. The three of them slowly start growing their group and gaining the trust of the people.

The upcoming season will adapt the Siltvelt Succession Arc of the series. Fans are eager to see the new character additions to the series and how they change the dynamics of the show. The novel also has a manga adaptation drawn by Aiya Kyū. You can watch the first three seasons of The Rising of the Shield Hero on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Videos depending on your location.
