Shogo Sakata, Manaka Iwami and more VAs have joined the cast.
Based on Hiromu’s romcom light novel series, the Chitose is in the Ramune Bottle anime is set to air in 2025. Although we don’t have any more details about the release date yet, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series have already revealed six main cast members of the upcoming show. Along with that, fans also received a beautiful illustration featuring the series’ love-interest Yuuko Hiragi.
The new cast members of the anime includes:
- Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man, Karin Sasaki in Fire Force) as Saku Chitose
- Manaka Iwami (Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket, Akane Kurokawa in Oshi no Ko) as Yuko Hiiragi
- Hina Yomiya (Shinju Inui in My Dress-Up Darling, Minami Kotobuki in Oshi no Ko) as Yua Uchida
- Ikumi Hasegawa (Karin Izumi in Buddy Daddies, Kotoha Tachibana in Wind Breaker) as Yuzuki Nanase
- Rumi Okubo (Ishiguro in Mob Psycho 100, Ritsu in Fire Force) as Haru Aomi
- Chika Anzai (Hajime Amasawa in Whisper Me a Love Song, Katana in Suicide Squad Isekai) as Asuka Nishino
Fans are excited to see who’s going to voice Kenta Yamazaki, as he’s an important character of the series. The anime is being produced by studio Feel with Yūji Tokuno slated as director. Naruhisa Arakawa is doing the script writing and series composition with Hiromu and Sumie Kinoshita in character design.
The story of the series revolves around Saku Chitose, the most popular guy in school and also the class president. He leads a group of students known as Team Chitose, out of whom Yūko Hiragi has a massive crush on him. But when Chitose is tasked with bringing back Kenta Yamazaki, a student who has shut himself in his room, to school, his life starts to change drastically.
