The main cast and release window of The Water Magician has been announced.
Based on the popular light novel series written by Tadashi Kudou and illustrated by Hana Amano, The Water Magician series is going to hit the screens very soon. The anime adaptation of this popular novel and manga series was recently announced, along with a beautiful trailer that introduces the main characters. As per the news, the show is set to air sometime in July 2025, during the beginning of the Summer 2025 anime season.
The anime series is being produced by Typhoon Graphics and Wonderland. Typhoon Graphics have also worked on Dahlia in Bloom, and Anyway, I’m Falling in Love With You, which is set to premiere on January 10, 2025. The protagonist of The Water Magician is a boy named Ryō, voiced by Ayumu Murase, known for his work as Shoyo Hinata in Haikyu!!, Ginro in Dr. Stone, and Kento Yamada in Skip and Loafer. The character of Abel is being voiced by Kazuki Ura, while Kaede Hondo is voicing Sera.
The Water Magician is an isekai story revolving around a boy named Ryō. When Ryō is incarnated into the fantastical world of Phi, he is delighted at the prospect of living peacefully. However, things start to change when he finds out that he can control water. Ryō suddenly finds himself fighting dangerous monsters that make Phi not as peaceful as he had thought.
