The second season of the anime will air on 13 April, 2025.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 is one the most-awaited sequels of the Spring 2025 anime season. Thanks to Negi Haruba’s amazing manga and Yostar Pictures’ thrilling adaptation, the first season of the series won the hearts of many fans in 2024. Its popularity guaranteed the show’s return with the sequel within a year. It was announced that Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 will come out on 13 April, 2025. On 7 and 9 April, just a few days ahead of the release, the official X (formerly Twitter) of the series revealed two new trailers featuring the male and female characters of the show.

Despite being a modern shonen, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! boasts an impressive female cast which includes many powerful rangers. In the trailer we can see:
- Yumeko Suzukiri voiced by Yumika Yano - A junior first-class ranger with amazing skills. Has a grudge against Dragon Keepers which caused her to make an alliance with Footsoldier D.
- Sesera Sakurama voiced by M.A.O - The Pink Keeper and older sister of Hibiki Sakurama who is obsessed with him. She lost use of her legs after a battle and relies on a wheelchair when un-transformed.
- Footsoldier XX voiced by Hina Yōmiya - A footsoldier who left the fortress to find their boss monster. She started living with Hibiki whose body is now inhabited by D.
- Kanon Hisui voiced by Azumi Waki - A moody ranger from the Green Battalion who later becomes an ally of D.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 male characters trailer
The series has many other amazing and intriguing male characters other than the protagonist. The trailer features:
- Shun Tokita voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino - A Ranger from the Red Battalion and a supporting antagonist.
- Aran Hekiru voiced by Kensho Ono - A Ranger from the Blue Battalion and a supporting Antagonist.
- Kai Shion voiced by Yūki Ono - Another Ranger from the Red Battalion and a supporting antagonist.
- Eigen Urabe voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita - Another Ranger from the Blue Battalion and a supporting antagonist.
- Shogo Aoshima voiced by Go Inoue - The Blue Keeper who joined the patrollers after being blackmailed by Akabane.
- Hibiki Sakurama voiced by Daishi Kajita - An enthusiastic Ranger who befriends Footsoldier D and wants to fight corruption within the system. D takes over his identity after an accident and the real Sakuramaa’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Both of these character trailers were followed by season 2’s original trailer which gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come. You can see the new voice actors who have joined the cast for this season. The series also revealed its impressive opening theme song ‘Maji de Sekai Kaechau 5 Byou Mae’ by ORANGE RANGE in the recent PV.
