The Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 video game has just released character trailers for two villains. The game, based on the Demon Slayer anime series, is coming out on 5 August, 2025, and pre-orders have already begun. The first Hinokami Chronicles game received a lot of praise from fans for its adaptation of the anime’s Unwavering Resolve and Mugen Train Arcs.

The upcoming Hinokami Chronicles game will cover the series’ Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training arcs. Fans may already know that Gyokko and Hantengu are two main antagonists from the Swordsmith Village Arc. Gyokko’s trailer shows off his skills against Muichiro Tokito, while Hantengu fights against Mitsuri.

From the looks of it, the gameplay is going to be pretty amazing, and fans are hyped about the new enemies. The game, produced by SEGA, will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Not only is the sequel adding more antagonists, but also more playable characters in general, including all nine Hashira—Giyu, Rengoku, Sanemi, Obanai, Mitsuri, Muichiro, Shinobu, Tengen, and Gyomei. The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc movie is also coming out this July!
