Episode 12 and 13 of the popular romance anime has been postponed by a week.
My Happy Marriage Season 2 is one of the most beloved returning anime of the Winter 2025 season. Much like the first season, this sequel is also set to have a total of 13 episodes, 11 of which are already out. Unfortunately, it seems that fans will have to wait an extra week for the final two episode due to a sudden and unexpected delay.
My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 12 has been postponed by a week
The 12th episode of My Happy Marriage Season 2 (25th episode overall), was set to air on Monday, 24 March, 2025. However, on 20 March, 2025, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime revealed that the episode has been delayed for a week. Instead of the original premiere date, the final episode will come out on Monday, 31 March, 2025. Which means, fans will have to wait an extra week for their favourite romance anime of the season to return.
The official statement from the staff didn’t disclose the exact reason behind this delay. However, the announcement has mentioned that the setback happened due to some production issues. Up until now, the second season has been smooth-running, so fans are left to wonder what suddenly went wrong. The staff has also apologised to their viewers for the sudden break. Given that episode 12 is delayed, episode 13 will also be moved to air in the first week of April.
Based on Akumi Agitogi’s light novel series, the My Happy Marriage anime first started airing in 2023. Produced by Kinema Citrus, the series focuses on Miyo Saimori, a young girl who’s constantly berated and tortured by her father, stepmother, and stepsister. She thinks her life has come to an end when she’s engaged to Kiyoka Kudou, a commander known for his cruel and cold nature. However, when she meets him, Miyo realises that Kudou is surprisingly warm and loving under the hard exterior. Taking place in an alternate and magical Taisho era, the sweet slow-burn romance has won everyone’s heart.
