The story of Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter revolves around Allen, a promising sorcerer who fails the final exam for his dream job at the royal court. Almost destitute, with not even the train fare to make it back to the countryside, Allen tries to find a job. He finds a job at the residence of Duke Howard, one of the most powerful nobles in the Kingdom. He has to tutor the Duke’s daughter Tina, who has trouble with spellcasting despite being academically gifted. Allen tries to help Tina use magic with his unique brand of spellcasting and hopes her impairment will dissolve.
