The upcoming rebirth fantasy anime The Beginning After the End has revealed its broadcast date to excited fans, paired with an official PV release featuring the opening theme song for the series. The anime is set to air on 2 April, 2025, while the opening theme song is titled “KINGSBLOOD," performed by the musician KALA.

The Beginning After the End is based on an American web novel series by Tae Ha Lee, who goes by the moniker of TurtleMe. The illustrations for the novel were provided by Fuyuki23, and was released in July 2018. The official blurb for the series available on TurtleMe’s website describes the story as:
King Grey once benefited from unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability, but now finds himself reborn in a society dominated by magic. Given a second chance at life, the once-king strives to understand his role in this new world and the purpose of his reincarnation while correcting the mistakes of his past.

The series is produced by Studio A-Cat and directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with Takamitsu Kano in charge of scripts. Masami Sueoka is slated as character designer, while Keiji Inai composed the music.
It has also been revealed that the anime will contain 24 episodes and will be split into cours, with this being the planned first season.
