Summer Pockets anime reveals April release date and new visual

The series is adapted from a visual novel game of the same name.

The new game-to-anime adaptation is here! The Summer Pockets anime’s official website revealed that the show will premiere on several Japanese broadcast channels on 7 April 2025. A new visual for the series was also released on the website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the project. Several other details about the series have also been announced.

Summer Pockets anime cast and staff

The series has a pretty extensive cast, which includes:

Adapted from the visual novel of the same name developed by Key, the anime series is being produced by Feel. Tomoki Kobayashi is directing the series with Keiichiro Ochi as the series composition writer. Mai Otsuka is the character designer for the show. The opening theme song of the series is ‘Alkatale’ and the ending theme song is ‘Lasting Moment’. Both of these songs are being performed by Konomi Suzuki.

Summer Pockets anime story and other details

The trailer for the series provides fans with a general idea about the setting and animation style of the series. The Summer Pockets visual novel game, which is available on Steam, follows protagonist Takahara Hairi. He travels to Torishirojima, a lone island, to manage his deceased grandmother’s belongings. Once he reaches, Takahara meets a beautiful girl with long white hair, who seems to vanish before his eyes.

Although he meets several other people and some beautiful girls on the island. Takahara can’t get the white-haired girl out of his head. He spends time with all his new friends. But nostalgic feelings start to haunt him, making him feel as though he already knows this place and has memories here.
