Character trailers for Haimawari, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster have been released.

The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime, based on spinoff manga written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, is coming out this April. Ahead of the anticipated release, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime has revealed the new cast members for the three main characters, as well as the returning voice actors from the original series. On February 12, 2025, the account also released short preview videos for the three central characters.

The first character trailer was for Knuckleduster/Iwao Oguro, the experienced vigilante hero in the series. He is being voiced by Yasuhiro Mamiya Gigantomachia in My Hero Academia season 7, Magma in Dr. Stone). The trailer showed off his skills as a brave and strong person, despite not having any quirks. His short temper and his relationship with the protagonist Koichi Haimawari were also highlighted in the video.

The second trailer was of Pop Step, the energetic and bubbly idol who also works as a hero. She is voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa (Ubel in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Kotoha Tachibana in Wind Breaker). The trailer lets the fans know about her double life as Kazuho Haneyama, a normal girl. However, when she performs as an idol on the streets, she has a lot of fans cheering for her. She also has a great relationship with the protagonist.

The final preview video is obviously for Koichi Haimawari/Crawler. He is voiced by Shuichiro Umeda (Lazar in Unnamed Memory, Milo Genius in Mashle). The trailer showed off Koichi’s life as a student and store worker. However, at night, he dons a mask and goes around the city saving people from trouble with his two partners.

Fans are really excited about the upcoming project, which is being produced by Bones Film. As mentioned earlier, the anime will start airing its episodes weekly on April 7, 2025.
